Business Days Calculator

Pick a start and end date

Business Days Calculator

Count business days between two dates, with an Israeli (Fri–Sat) or international (Sat–Sun) weekend.

How are business days counted between dates?

The calculator walks every day in the range (inclusive of both endpoints) and counts only working days, according to the weekend convention:

  • Israel: Sunday–Thursday work week, Friday–Saturday weekend.
  • International: Monday–Friday work week, Saturday–Sunday weekend.

Why it matters

Business days drive banking (transfer settlement), shipping, contracts and legal deadlines. Note that legal definitions may also exclude holiday eves — this calculator does not subtract public holidays, which vary by year and country.

💡 Useful Tips

  • Public holidays are not subtracted — deduct them manually for your country.
  • In banking, transactions after the cutoff time count toward the next business day.
  • For deadline planning, count forward from today by the required business days.
